Necker's Toyland
07/21/2011 09:41

Necker's Toyland just got in some great new books by a self published author. His name is Michael Sterns and he has authored a trilogy of books centered around his character Kokopelli. His storytelling is full of symbolism and vivid detail that make his stories truly come alive. They are also a bit longer, intentionally created to take more than one night to read together. You can check them out at www.grasshopperdreams.com or come down today and pick up one of these great books!

Wow! Necker's Toy Store has really come a far ways from its original one- room "home & garden" store, to a multi- dimensional and interactive toy store; with an internet-site!!!. Mom, you have poured out your spirit and Joy into this home-town community toy store, of which I would attribute to your ability to smile and make someone else smile. Grandpa (your Dad) would be (and is; I am sure) very proud of you.

My family has been a customer for 3 generations. My parents used to bring me to the store when I was a little girl (over 50 years ago!). I used to bring my son and now I bring my grandchildren. As far as I'm concerned this is the best toy store in the world!

Years ago, my son only wanted a firetrucck peddal car for Christmas. We finally found one at Neckers.I paid half and my husband would pay the rest two days before Christmas a d pick it up for Santa. We had a huge snowstorm that day, but Mr Necker stayed at the sore and waited for my husband to drive out after work. He was our Santa that year. You don't find many merchants that care about their customers like Neckers!

Thank you Deb for bringing in the Girl Scout books and other accessories. Not having to drive to Hartford is wonderful!!
